    What is Magnewood?

Magnewood is the latest innovation in engineered wood flooring. It is a uniquely designed wood flooring for high humidity areas, engineered to be installed virtually anywhere. In kitchens, basements, or attics, places where ordinary solid wood floors can’t survive.

Most manufacturers use wood or plywood base construction, which requires that important steps need to be taken to ensure that the bond between veneer and base is very strong. The moisture of the base should equal the moisture of the veneer and the fibers of the traditional base must run perpendicular to the direction of the grain in the veneer otherwise facial checking failures will surely result.

Magnewood does not have these issues at this step because the base is a core of stone/wood pulp composite and therefore is extremely stable. There are no directional grains to worry about and thus this step provides us the added security that our final product will be flawless.

Engineered wood floors offer already many advantages over solid hardwood flooring. They are eco-friendly, easy to install (home owners can easily do it themselves), they can be nailed, stapled, glued or installed as floating floor. Now imagine you can add dozens of other benefits including lifetime warranty…

How interested would you be in investing on a product that can add value, beauty, warmth and has durability of a lifetime?

    Why Magnewood

High humidity areas: Magnewood can be installed on, above or below ground level. It is perfect for high volume commercial and residential projects as well.

Eco-friendly: Magnewood is the “perfect” green wood floor. It is made of 75% recycled material, all of the wood is sourced from sustainable forests and it is in its way to receive the highest LEED certification score (The Leader in Energy and Environmental Design), proving to be the “the greenest” among the all green floors in the market today.

Very easy to install: Magnewood is being known as “open the box and install” type of flooring because it doesn’t require acclimation. Each box covers about 19.39 sq/ft (1.8m) and comes with 48″,30″ and 18″ lengths. Home owners find very empowering having total control over the natural appearance of the floor.

Eliminates extra costs: Magnewood eliminates the cost of plywood sub-floor due to the glue down system. And by reducing sub-floors, reduces costly elevations in adjacent bathrooms and halls.

Needs no special tools: Magnewood can be easily installed with standard wood cutting tools and uses tongue and groove construction on all 4 sides. It is a one-step installation pre-finished product.

Competitive pricing: Despite of the high end technology, the price of the square foot is competitive to regular and engineered hardwood flooring, making Magnewood the best investment for your projects.

Lifetime warranty: Some engineered floors (bamboo) can have up to 5 years of warranty, but with our bamboo wood flooring you’ll have not one, two or five year warranty…you will have a lifetimewarranty for warping, buckling and adhesion. A lifetime of no headaches with your harwood Flooring.
